Welcome to the Lions Club of Ocean Grove Barwon Heads

Lions is the world's largest and most active community service club organisation. The Lions Club of Ocean Grove Barwon Heads Inc serves the communities of our part of the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria, Australia.

We aim to provide service and assistance to the less fortunate in the local and wider community, whilst enjoying the fun and fellowship of our own and other club members. We welcome enquiries from all community minded persons regarding our activities and membership of our Club.

The Lions Club of Ocean Grove Barwon Heads Inc participates in a wide range of community service activities at the local and wider community level. These include:

Assistance to people in the local community

Donations to local community groups and to organisations working on a wider level

Youth programs

Support for education in local schools

Support for local families in need

Bushfire, flood and other disaster relief

Development of local housing options for older people

Eye health programs and recycling of used spectacles

Other health programs

Drug awareness programs

Environment programs

To support these activities we undertake fund-raising in a range of ways.

On this web site you will find out more about our activities and the fun we have working together.

Lions Club of Ocean Grove Barwon Heads Meetings

Meetings of the Club are held twice each month on Tuesdays.

One meeting each month is a Business Meeting.  This is a working meeting to plan our activities and review how we are faring against our objectives.

The other meeting each month is a Dinner Meeting.  This is a social meeting to grow the relationships between our members so we can work effectively as a team.

Visitors are always welcome at our meetings.  Contact us if you would like to come along.
